Monday checkin
I took your tips to heart--measured my milk on the cereal and stayed on my points yesterday. Went to Curves today and am 1lb. down from where I was on Friday. I am still NOT past the 160 mark but I think I am headed in the right direction, finally! You did really well last week. Let's keep it up.

Weigh-in Today!
I did good! I lost 3.4 lbs this week. I'm surprised actually. Yesterday I stepped on my scale at home (with my regular clothes on) and thought I'd gained a few pounds. I purposely didn't eat much last night and ate nothing before weigh-in this morning trying to salvage anything I could. :) Yeah, it paid off. My goal this week...to track everything...starting tomorrow. :)
Okay, mom, let's figure out what's going on with you...are you getting all of your "good health guidelines" in?
Fuits & Vegetables 5 servings/day
Milk Products 2 servings/day
Water/liquids 6 glasses/day
Healthy Oils 2 tsp/day
Lean Protein 1-2 servings/day
Vitamin 1 per day
Whole Grains Choose whenever possible
Activity 30 min/day (most days of wk)
Sugar & Alcohol Limit your intake (no more than 1 alcohol/day for women)
Try to really track that your getting all of these this week and see how the week goes. I wonder if your getting enough protein and dairy...did you know 1 serving of dairy is actually 2 cups of cottage cheese...that's ALOT. And that 1 serving of dairy is actually 8 oz of yogurt, not just 1 carton...I know you're good about your vitamins and veggies and now activity. :)

Still struggling!
It's been 4 good days, only one point over on two of them, but no improvement, Sarah. I am doing vegetables forever! I almost wish that I'd done Dad's routine of colonoscopy prep. I'm sure that would have made for some reduction. I go out to breakfast tomorrow with Soul Group. What do you suggest that I do?

Monday
Bad last night. We picked up pizza on the way home. Three pieces! But then I had a pain in my side part of the night and this morning--gall bladder? Perhaps pain will be the magic action that helps! I spend about 45 min. cooking beets, making salad to take for lunch. AND went to Curves. OK, Sarah, it's up to plate time--pun intended and the plate has to be good stuff with moderate portions.
